When I first played Final Fantasy Tactics, the character I found most interesting was Delita Heiral, and as a result I spent the first half of the game paying more attention to him than the lead. But as the story progressed, I found myself more and more involved in Ramza's plight, and wanted to see how it would end up for him. By the end, he had cemented himself as one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters. His actions set him apart from typical video game heroes, and though recognition for his deeds don't come until much later in the game, he certainly earned my respect. In the years since I first played the game, this hasn't changed a bit.
